We are looking for highly motivated university students in Costa Rica who are passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and process optimization to join our AI Finance Internship Program.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with global Finance teams on strategic initiatives focused on improving business processes through AI-driven solutions. The selected interns will help identify opportunities to automate, analyze, and optimize financial processes using data, emerging technologies, and artificial intelligence tools.
Working alongside experienced professionals, interns will gain hands-on experience supporting real business challenges while developing technical and professional skills in a global corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with global Finance teams to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Analyze large volumes of financial and operational data to generate meaningful insights.
Research, evaluate, and leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Support the design, testing, and implementation of AI-enabled solutions that streamline financial processes.
Assist in data preparation, validation, visualization, and reporting activities.
Participate in cross-functional projects involving Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders.
Document findings, recommendations, and best practices.
Present project outcomes and improvement opportunities to internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Active university student enrolled in an accredited university in Costa Rica.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or related fields):
o Computer Science
o Software Engineering
o Data Science
o Data Analytics
o Computer Engineering
o Artificial Intelligence
o Information Systems
o Industrial Engineering (with strong analytics focus)
Intermediate to Advanced English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or Process Automation.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multicultural, and global environment.
Availability to work remotely.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience:
Knowledge of AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI, Power BI AI capabilities, or similar technologies.
Experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other data analytics tools.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate or similar platforms.
Understanding of data visualization and data storytelling.
Experience working with large datasets.
