In Costa Rica, Portuguese became the third most searched language, behind English and Spanish, above French, German and even Mandarin, which after the resumption of commercial relations with China in 2007, was seen with great potential.

The demand for Portuguese by companies has grown exponentially in last years in the country. Before, the second language required was English, now English is an obligation and the third language is Portuguese. The search for employees with a good fluency of this language goes from senior managers and administrative positions, to service and customer service positions.

At CEB Centro de Estudios Brasileños, the search for the Portuguese classes grew by 70%. We graduate an average of 500 students a year.
