Accounting Technicians support the work of producing financial reports and other operations such as maintenance of records of financial transactions, updating of statements, as well as support in the audit of financial statements. Their work may involve expense control, revenue receipt, accounts payable, accounts receivable and profit and loss control. As organizations grow and modernize, many of the Accounting Technicians may be involved in the management of software and databases for the development of these processes.
