The Industrial Maintenance career prepares its students to efficiently manage the resources of industries and thus optimize production processes. Today, we can find for sale all imaginable products, manufactured with specialized machines of all kinds and what these different machines have in common is that they all require proper maintenance to function properly. The money that is possibly not generated by a damaged machine can bring serious problems to any company and that is why it is essential to care for and properly operate the equipment, machinery and facilities in general.
Output profile
  • Apply their technical knowledge to design, build, install, operate and maintain construction systems.
  • Produce and interpret relevant information for decision making in the design and operation of mechanical systems.
  • Identify, define, raise and simulate problems, needs and processes directly related to the production systems of companies that use mechanical systems.
  • Manage and administer mechanical systems for the use of energy in its different manifestations, particularly thermal, hydraulic and pneumatic, in manufacturing and other productive activities, towards the optimization of available resources.
